Camping Rules
- Camping Fee: There will be a $100 fee for each camper. This is a onetime fee for using the space through the entire week of the Fair.
- Payment is due to the Fair Office Thursday before the fair.
- An envelope will be provided at each camp site, complete all the information on the envelope, enclose payment, and turn it into the fair office.
- Make checks out to Idaho County Fair Board.
- Money will not be collected on Saturday.
- Park According to the marked spaces. There will be marked spaces to show how the campers should be angled when parked. If everyone follows the correct angle there will be more space for everyone and it will be much easier for everyone to park and pull out when ready to leave.
- Water/Electric: Each post has water and electric hook-ups for 4 campers. You need to bring your own hose and your own electrical cord.
- Sewage: There are no hookups for sewage in the camping area, however, an RV dump is located just outside the camp area entrance.
- One spot per family: Camping is restricted to one RV/Camper spot per exhibiting family. No spots available for extended family.
- Quiet Time: Turn off lights and keep the camping area quiet between 10 pm and 5 am.
- Keep the camper area clean.
- Adults must accompany minors in the campers overnight.
- Drive Slow: Please remember to drive slowly and carefully when you are in the camping area. Tents beside campers can be difficult to see after dark and always watch for small children playing in the area.
- Do not block roadways, emergency vehicles need to be able to come and go!
- One vehicle parked by campsite: Campers at the Fairgrounds may park only one vehicle by their campsite. Emergency vehicles (fire/ambulance) need to have room to access the camper area. If more than one vehicle is parked next to an RV, they will be asked to move. Extra vehicles may be parked at the school parking lot.
- Camper vehicles should not be parked on the street by the park: Campers parked next to the fence across the street from the city park should not park vehicles on the street. The street area needs to be open for Fair visitor parking. Extra vehicles may be parked at the school parking lot.
- Any exhibiting family that does not adhere to these guidelines will be notified and will not be allowed to camp in the campground the following year.
- The Fair Board has done a great job developing our camper area. We are very fortunate to have such a nice facility. If you are using this area, be courteous of those camping around you and respect everyone’s property.
